As many as 20 to 40 per cent of women encounter genital bleeding through the trimester that is first of maternity. Vaginal bleeding includes spotting — very light bleeding that ranges in color from light pink to red to— that is brown well as heavier bleeding — sometimes adequate to immerse through multiple pads.
